Camp Chief Hector YMCA


Come to Camp Chief Hector YMCA with your family for a day of nature-based outdoor activities!

Families can choose their own flow and drop-in to all activities offered that day. Five or six activities will be available each day, chose from, archery, canoeing, hiking, pony petting, nature crafts, and more! Families will stay together as they participate in activities throughout the day. Ideal for adults and kids aged 4-15Y (all ages welcome).

What is Camp Chief Hector?

Located in Kananaskis Country just a short drive outside of Calgary, Camp Chief Hector YMCA programs emphasize community and values-based education, outdoor challenge, fun, individual growth, environmental stewardship, leadership development and service excellence.

Operating year-round, Camp Chief Hector YMCA is a unique camping and outdoor education branch that focuses on youth but offers programs for everyone through Summer Camps, Outdoor Schools, weekend programs for adults and families, and meeting and event facilities. Our camps develop physical literacy in your children.
