Who Can Enter

Open to Alberta residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of prize pickup. Employees, volunteers, and immediate family members of YMCA Calgary are not eligible. No purchase necessary.

When & Where

YMCA Calgary will be hosting five (5) in-person Stampede Breakfast events on the following dates.

• Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton on July 5, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Remington YMCA in Quarry Park on July 7, 2026 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
• Shawnessy YMCA on July 9, 2026 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
• Saddletowne YMCA and the Genesis Centre on July 10, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge on July 10, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  

The Contest commences at the start of the first Stampede Breakfast event at 7:00 a.m. on July 5, 2026 and, subject to these Rules, will conclude at the end of the final Stampede Breakfast event at 11:59 a.m. on July 10, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).

How to Enter

Scan the unique QR code displayed by YMCA Calgary staff at the Stampede Breakfast event you are attending and complete the online entry form. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted across all events.

Winner Selection

One winner will be selected by random draw on or around July 20, 2026. The winner will be notified by email within one business day and must respond within 72 hours. The winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question and provide valid government-issued photo ID confirming age and Alberta residency. The selected entrant will be contacted by YMCA CALGARY to coordinate pickup at one of YMCA CALGARY’s facilities. The selected entrant has seven (7) business days to collect their prize.  

Prize

A minimum of one (1) prize package will be awarded, including: one (1) Adult YMCA Calgary Membership (approximate retail value: $541), one (1) new YMCA member registration fee waived (approximate retail value: $75), one (1) exclusive YMCA Calgary duffle bag, one (1) water bottle, and one (1) hat (physical items approximate retail value: $60). The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.  

Should the selected entrant have an active YMCA membership at the time of prize pick up, their active membership will be paused for the duration of the 6-month free membership. A portion of the prize, one (1) new YMCA member registration fee waived (approximate retail value: $75), does not apply to an active YMCA membership and cannot be redeemed for cash value.

The selected entrant has seven (7) business days to collect their prize. The 6-month free membership begins on the day they collect their prize.

Your Information & Communications

Your personal information will be used solely to administer the Contest and notify the winner, in accordance with CASL and applicable Canadian privacy law. You will not be added to any YMCA Calgary mailing list without your separate, express consent. You may withdraw consent to Contest-related emails at any time by contacting YMCA Calgary.

General

YMCA Calgary’s decisions on all Contest matters are final. The Contest is governed by the laws of Alberta. YMCA Calgary reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest at any time. Incomplete, duplicate, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.
