  • Scan the unique QR code displayed by YMCA Calgary staff at the specific Stampede Breakfast event they are attending; and
  • Complete and submit the online entry form, providing all required information including full name and email address.

Each submitted entry form will, subject to these Rules, serve as one (1) entry in the Contest. Entrants may attend multiple Stampede Breakfast events; however, there is a limit of one (1) entry per person across all events and the entire Contest Period. Duplicate entries will be declared null and void.

Incomplete entries or entries received after the expiry of the Contest Period will be considered null and void and ineligible to win any prize. All valid entries will, subject to these Rules, be considered eligible (“Entries”).

5. CONSENT TO COMMUNICATIONS (CASL)

By completing the entry form, entrants expressly consent to receive electronic communications from YMCA CALGARY related to the Contest, including notification of winner selection, in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This consent is separate from any consent to receive YMCA CALGARY’s general marketing or promotional communications.

Entrants who wish to receive ongoing electronic communications from YMCA CALGARY beyond the Contest (such as newsletters, promotions, or program updates) will be given a clear and separate opportunity to provide their express consent on the entry form. Entrants are not required to consent to receiving marketing communications in order to be eligible to enter or win the Contest.

Entrants may withdraw their consent to receive electronic communications at any time by contacting YMCA CALGARY at the contact information provided on their website, or by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in any electronic message received. Withdrawal of consent will not affect an entrant’s eligibility for the Contest if the withdrawal occurs after a valid entry has been submitted.

6. SELECTION OF WINNER

At the conclusion of the Contest Period, YMCA CALGARY will conduct a random draw from all eligible Entries. The draw will take place on or about July 20, 2026.

The selected entrant will be contacted by email (using the email address provided in their entry form) on or about July 20, 2026. This individual will have seventy-two (72) hours from the time of notification to respond. Entrants are solely responsible for monitoring their own email accounts for notification. The selected entrant will be contacted by YMCA CALGARY to coordinate pickup at one of YMCA CALGARY’s facilities. The selected entrant has seven (7) business days to collect their prize.

If the selected entrant cannot be contacted or fails to respond and act within the applicable time period, that individual will be disqualified, their Entry will be declared null and void, and YMCA CALGARY may, at its sole and absolute discretion, select another entrant by random draw from the remaining eligible Entries.

In order to be declared the “Winner” and receive the Prize, the selected entrant must: (i) be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of prize pickup and be a resident of Alberta; (ii) correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question; (iii) provide a valid government-issued photo identification to YMCA CALGARY confirming identity and age; and (iv) sign and promptly return to YMCA CALGARY a declaration, consent, and/or waiver and release in a form acceptable to YMCA CALGARY.

The decisions of YMCA CALGARY in regards to all matters of the Contest are final and binding upon entrants. All entries must comply with applicable laws. Any entry that is illegible, incomplete, altered, or contains false information is invalid.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER WILL THE RELEASEES’ LIABILITY HEREUNDER EXCEED $1.00 PER ENTRANT.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Releasees are not responsible for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, third parties, or by any equipment or software associated with the Contest; (ii) technical errors, defects, delays, or failures of any kind; (iii) unauthorized human intervention; (iv) any injury or damage to persons or property caused directly or indirectly from participation in the Contest or use of any Prize; and (v) lost, incomplete, illegible, or garbled entries or transmissions of any kind.

Notwithstanding any other provision herein, YMCA CALGARY reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, amend, cancel, suspend, reinstate, or close the Contest at any time, in whole or in part, without prior notification and for any reason whatsoever.
