Raise JOY with YMCA Calgary!

At YMCA Calgary, JOY is more than just a word. It's an intentional act of kindness that can be easily unlocked.  We are far more than a gym and swimming pool. We offer a growing hub of programming and services, inside and outside our walls, which address the unique needs and challenges faced by so many in our communities. Issues like isolation, financial barriers, child care, language and cultural barriers, mental health challenges, and so much more. 

Many struggle with being able to access what the Y has to offer due to issues such as poverty, chronic illness, lack of resources, discrimination, mental health, isolation...challenging issues that unfairly limit their potential. We want to change that.

Here at the YMCA, we believe in people. Everyone should know the joy of finding their community....their place to shine!

Your support helps the most vulnerable in your community, giving them affordable access to health and wellness supports, academic and job search assistance, a welcoming and safe community space and so much more.
