School Swim Lessons
Being able to swim is a valuable life skill and a great way to have fun, get exercise, build confidence and develop friendships amongst your students. Our programs help individuals of all ages and skill levels feel comfortable in the water while developing good technique and water safety awareness.

School Fitness Lessons
Our Group Exercise Instructors are highly trained to provide those seeking a healthy lifestyle with a safe environment and effective exercise programs. Introduce your students to numerous different fitness activities, including Yoga, Strength and Conditioning, Spin, Zumba and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).
Please note: the number of instructors required for your booking will be dependent on the size of your class and the type of lesson.

School Activity Day

Healthy Living Schools
Interested in a more immersive experience? Teachers and students step out of the traditional classroom and into a dynamic, inclusive environment where health is explored through physical activity, reflection, creativity, and connection.
Booking Requirements
Currently, YMCA Calgary has Master Service Agreements with the Calgary Board of Education, Calgary Catholic School Division, and Rocky View Schools. If you belong to a school that isn’t a part of those boards, we can likely still accommodate a booking. Please fill out our rental application, and we will work with you to arrange your visit.
Requirements for CBE/CCSD/RVS schools:
- Complete the rental application form.
- Sign a booking contract provided by YMCA Calgary.
- Pay the rental fee at least 30 days before your booking.
- (For swim lessons only) Distribute our Swim Ability Form to your students and return them and an attendance list at least 30 days before your booking.
Requirements for other schools:
- Complete the rental application form.
- Sign a booking contract provided by YMCA Calgary.
- Provide proof of insurance with a minimum of $5,000,000 liability insurance coverage at least 30 days before your booking.
- Pay the rental fee at least 30 days before your booking.
- Distribute our Swim Ability Form to your students and return them and an attendance list at least 30 days before your booking (For swim lessons only).
