TECTERRA Helps Support Youth Through YMCA Tutoring Table Program
As students settle into a new school year, having the right support can make all the difference. For some youth, that means having someone to turn to when they are working through a challenging math problem, exploring a new science concept or building confidence in their learning.
At YMCA Calgary, we believe every young person deserves to feel supported in their learning and have access to the resources they need to succeed. Through our YMCA Tutoring Table Program, youth ages 14 to 21 can access free tutoring in math and science, along with guidance and mentorship.
This fall, TECTERRA is helping make that support possible with a generous $50,000 gift to Tutoring Table. Their support helps make tutoring more accessible to youth across Calgary and gives students another place to turn for academic support, encouragement and guidance. For one student, that support made a meaningful difference in their education and helped them keep moving toward their goals.
