Members can bring a guest in for free on the 5th of every month.
Introductory climbing course at all locations with climbing walls.
This membership includes use of all facilities and general locker rooms at all YMCA Calgary locations.
This membership permits use of all fitness areas and extra locker rooms at Melcor YMCA at Crowfoot, Shawnessy YMCA, and Remington YMCA in Quarry Park.
Extra benefits will include (vary by location):

- Locker room staff
- Quieter locker room
When using the Extra locker rooms, children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
This membership allows an active adult, young adult or senior full-pay member to add one or more members of their household to their membership at a reduced rate. The adult (18+) member or - the highest priced membership - will always be considered the primary member. Child, youth and young adult +ONE members must be dependents of the primary member.
Level of Access
Level of access is determined by age and required supervision.
Full Access* (12Y+)
Includes access to all areas including weight floor and drop-in fitness classes. Youth ages 12-17 years require an orientation before accessing the weight floor.
Independent Access* (10-11Y)
Includes access to all areas (without parent/guardian supervision), with the exception of drop-in fitness classes. Children ages 10-11 years require an orientation before accessing the weight floor.
Supervised Access* (9Y AND Under)
Includes access to all areas (with parent/guardian supervision and within arm’s reach), with the exception to the weight floor and drop-in fitness classes. There is a supervision ratio maximum of three children per parent/guardian.

Financial assistance is available for those who wish to register for membership, programs, or camps, but are not able to afford the full registration fee. YMCA Calgary believes all Calgarians, of every age and income bracket, should have access to quality health, fitness and community programs.
