What are Camp YMCA day camps?
Camp YMCA camps take place during school and summer breaks at all six YMCA locations across Calgary.
During multi-activity camps, participants will play sports, sing songs, get artsy, and participate in a variety of traditional camp games, both in and outside the YMCA facility. They’ll play court sports, scale walls, and take on the pool! Climbing, art, or swim options (with lesson) are available with some camps and some participants will even explore philanthropy! Half-day, full-day and week-long camps are offered at all six Calgary YMCA locations. All week-long camps include an off-site field trip (such as the Calgary Corn Maze, Calgary Zoo, or Camp Riveredge. (Off-site destination details are sent to parents one-week prior to camp).

Does your child require the support of an Aide/Support Worker while at camp? For a fun and safe experience for all, your Aide/Support Worker must meet the following criteria:
16 years of age or older
Cleared security clearance (through the Calgary Police Service)
Approval from the YMCA to attend camp with your child

How do I register for camp?
Medical and Transportation Forms
Camper medical and transportation forms for all camps are completed online. All campers must have a completed medical forms, and if required, a transportation form before the first day of camp. Forms are completed by logging onto our online Family Zone.

Once your registration is complete, you will be asked to complete your campers forms closer to your child’s camp start date. We will send you a link by email that will allow you to create your own account and password. You can update camper info at any time (changes accepted up to 2 weeks prior to camper’s start date).
Once you have completed the form, the information remains in our system meaning you only have to complete the form once (and make updates when information changes).
