Experience daily adventures in the great outdoors

YMCA Camp Riveredge is an outdoor day camp located at Sandy Beach Park along the Elbow River in Calgary's southwest. Participants are unplugged and stay active exploring the great outdoors, taking part in traditional camp games, crafts and activities.

This camp encourages campers to belong, grow, thrive and lead in the outdoors. Throughout each day, campers may take part in archery, the challenge course, low ropes, bouldering cube, fire building, field games, campfires, shelter building and more.

On hot days, campers take regular shade breaks, play water games and participate in lower energy activities. Offsite adventures encourage groups to explore local parks and natural spaces. Groups interact with others in a natural disconnected environment to make new friends and develop social skills.

All camps include some of the same activities but are modified for each developmental stage to keep camp fun, engaging and challenging for everyone.
