My First Bootcamp
Challenge yourself using body weight exercises, outdoor elements or a variety of portable equipment in this exhilarating class! Classes are progressive so you can start at comfortable level!

Outdoor Bootcamps

Ski & Snowboard Conditioning

Parkour

Become a Soaring Success.Twist, flip and leap your way through the Urban Jungle. Parkour utilizes movements such as rolls, vaults and climbing in combination with free running; freestyle gymnastics; Martial Arts to navigate through any environment. It is about moving efficiently and effectively. Learn moves to scale walls, jump gaps, move on all fours, balance on rails, climb poles and much more! Parkour reacquaints us with the child within and conditions us to see all obstacles as opportunities

Run for Your Life
Age:12Y and up
Are you a 5K to marathon runner wanting a little more? Join us for a variety of workouts including hills, tempo, intervals, circuit training and technique to give you the skills to become a better runner. Gord Hobbins from Gord’s Running Store teaches the course at the Eau Claire branch.

Tabata Bootcamp
This comprehensive 9 week wellness and weight loss program will be made up of three key content areas which will lead to successes. The exercise program (minimum 3 times per week), the nutritional program and motivational tools lead by certified Tabata Trainers and registered nutritionist. Choose any three of the offered classes plus get every day on-line exercise program and coaching. Learn when/ how much / what to eat and build healthy eating habits for life

Triathlon Training

Belly Dancing – Level 1

Celebrate your femininity! Experience this beautiful dance form, letting your personality sparkle with veils and skirts, while toning and burning calories. No experience required.

Bollywood

Bollywood dance blends the Indian Folk dance Bhangra, with movement from Belly Dancing and many other styles. Often mixed with western popular styles including: modern, jazz, and hip hop dancing, Bollywood dance is an invigorating way to add a little spice to your fitness routine.

Diva Dance

Unleash your inner Goddess with this light cardio, choreographed dance class.

Social Dance

Grace the dance floor with classics like the Fox Trot, Rhumba, Waltz, Jive and Two Step. You must register as a couple.

Zumba

This class will take you through basic salsa reggaeton, flamenco and cumbia steps with a fitness flair.

Zumba Gold

Join the Party! Zumba Cardio Dance will take you through basic salsa, reggaeton, flamenco and other international rhythms with a fitness flare. Dance your way into shape!

Zumba Toning
Age:12Y and up
Take Zumba to the next level with the addition of toning sticks. A dynamic combination of cardio and resistance exercises.

Healthy Living Program
Age:12Y and up
Come join a class specifically designed for people who have chronic conditions and/or have survived a cardiac event. Graduates of the Living Well Program and/or Cardiac Wellness are encouraged to enroll in this class to keep up their level of fitness. Class will be in a group setting including cardiovascular activities and resistance training. Participants must have clearance from their doctor to participate.

Instructor Training and Certification

YMCA/AFLCA/Keiser Group Cycle
Age:16Y and up
Learn what it takes to lead group fitness indoor cycling classes. Proper bike set-up, teaching skills, and safe drills of the Keiser, YMCA, and AFLCA cycling program will be covered. You must have completed the YMCA Basic Theory or AFLCA Fitness Theory course as well as the YMCA Fundamentals of Group Fitness course to participate. Current group fitness certified instructors also qualify to participate in this course.

YMCA Basic Theory
Age:16Y and up
Take the first step to becoming a YMCA fitness leader. Learn basic anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, conditioning and general fitness principles. YMCA manuals are included.

YMCA Group Fitness Fundamentals
Age:16Y and up
This course is the second step towards YMCA certification in group fitness with a designation in a specific stream. Learn the fundamentals of leading fitness classes in a group setting. You must have completed the YMCA Basic Theory or AFLCA Fitness Theory course to participate.

YMCA IC2 Resistance Training
Age:16Y and up
Develop your expertise in the strength and conditioning field. This program includes YMCA manuals. To participate, you must have completed the YMCA Basic Theory or AFLCA Fitness Theory course.

Hap Ki Do

Overcome adversity and become a leader amongst your peers through the practice of Hap Ki Do, the Art of Coordinating Energy. Grow your strength and confidence with this Korean Martial Art as you learn self-defense through redirection of opponents’ energy. Participants will practice joint locks, pressure points, throws, strikes, rolls, mental concepts and other techniques in a respectful.

Tai Chi

Is an intelligent and inspiring blend of yoga, pilates and fitness through a progressive series of yoga postures and exercises to train strength, balance and flexibility. Relaxation is included at the end of each class.

Pilates Mat Class

Build core strength, flexibility and posture in this challenging self paced workout. Grow self awareness and enhanced recruitment of the core through multi dimensional and challenging exercises.

Pilates Infused Core
Age:12Y and up
Take your Pilates skills to the next level. Grow your awareness of the stabilizers and enhanced recruitment of the core through multi dimensional and challenging exercises. If you have taken at least one session of the Pilates Mat Class Level 1, you are ready to move to Level 2

Yoga – Passive

Tune in to your true self and find peace and belonging within. This yoga class will guide you through slow poses, breath work and meditation in a serene atmosphere intended to create calm, restore energy and promote healing in mind, body and spirit.

Yoga for Runners

Pre- and Post-Natal

Pre-Natal – Yoga
Age:16Y and up
Experience Hatha yoga to help with a healthy pregnancy, delivery and recovery. This course will guide you through slow poses, breath work and relaxation techniques in a serene atmosphere to support your mind, body and spirit throughout your pregnancy.

Post-Natal – Baby & Me H20 Workout
Age:16Y and up
Have fun with your baby and get to know other moms while getting into shape! Improve your aerobic conditioning, build strength and stretch while your little one plays in the water right beside you in their own personal floatation device (boat). Your baby will love being in the water while you experience this playful way of getting fit! Babies ages 6-18 months are welcome.

Post-Natal – Pilates – Mom & Baby
Age:16Y and up
Designed specifically to recondition the body after pregnancy and childbirth, Mom and Baby Pilates brings new moms together to spend time connecting with their babies while getting a balanced full body workout. For babies 6 weeks to crawling and for moms having received permission from a physician to begin an exercise program. Please bring blankets and toys for baby.

Discover the principles and benefits of women’s resistance training. Explore concepts such as training splits, tempo training and exercise variations including stability ball resistance training
