Camp Chief Hector YMCA Alumni
Camp Chief Hector YMCA programs make kids a bit braver, more resilient and self-reliant.
Camp is beloved by thousands of Calgary families, who have paddled, climbed, and hiked there. Camp is situated on 1,000 acres in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, on land that is the traditional territory of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation. For over nine decades, Camp has taught problem-solving and resilience, leadership and independence, and created positive, character-building memories, stories and joy.
We know that Camp Chief Hector is an essential part of growing up and moving forward as kids and families seek togetherness and fun, in nature. It’s time once again to play and learn in nature – together.
It is time to show camp some love.
For all that Camp Chief Hector has done for hundreds and thousands of kids and families, let’s return the love camp has given to us. We hope you will join us in ensuring the best camp experience for kids and families now and into our next 90 years.
