Hey Everyone – Camp Riveredge is up and ready to start day camps
on July 2nd.
Although the storage buildings did receive damage, as well as a small grass area
next to the river, all other areas were not flooded and are unaffected (the
tipis, main field, tipi field, archery field, the challenge course, climbing
wall, the access road etc) by the river waters. For those that are concerned about sewage, we use porta potties on site, which were not in the flooded
The storage buildings have been locked, and the area that was flooded
has been clearly fenced off. There is natural tree barrier to much of it, but
any entrances closed off. Staff and children will not have access to that area.
Additional storage units are being moved onto the site, as the buildings cannot
