What is Jiu Jitsu?

Jiu Jitsu is the fastest-growing of the tremendously popular  martial arts!  It is a combat sport which uses a combination of grappling, ground fighting and self-defense poses.

In addition to being a great workout, this fun, exciting class also teaches the balance of respect, wisdom and, self-defense in a friendly environment.

Jiu Jitsu is offered on Thursday evenings at the Crowfoot YMCA 7:00-8:00pm, beginning April 10.  The instructor, Francisco, holds a black belt in the discipline.
