Something new is happening at the Saddletowne YMCA! Two separate Group Mentoring Programs for youth aged 12 – 17 years of age will begin in late January 2014.
In partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters these two programs will encourage young people to be active and have fun with the support of peers and adult mentors. Each program will have a framework based on mentoring principles and focus on providing opportunities for physical skill development, health and positive social interactions.
Alternate Tuesdays, begins January 28, 2014 Time: 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Mentors are Calgary Police Service Officers.
Open to male and female youth aged 12- 15 years
GO 4 GREAT
Wednesdays, begins January 29, 2014 Time: 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Mentors are Big Brothers Big Sisters Recreation Mentors
Open to male youth in grades 7 – 9
