Fall Program Preview….

The current buzz in the Fitness world is “metabolic training”. Designed to challenge the body to the max, these types of workouts are not for the weak at heart but if you are willing to push yourself that hard they are a highly effective way of incorporating heart-punching cardio and thigh-pumping strength work into the one session….

When looking at this type of training, it’s important to ask yourself

1/ What do you want to achieve?

–          If your goal is to try something different – give it a whirl, confident that you will be working hard!

–          If your goal is to push yourself – this type of class will definitely challenge and push you out of your comfort zone.

–          If your goal is to coast through a workout – this is not for you

2/ You will only get out what you put in… are you willing to commit.

*not saying that you can’t attend these types of classes and work at your own pace, that is also very acceptable, but results will be reflected in intensity level output.

Eau Claire YMCA has two different choices for metabolic training in fall 2012…
