Can Jogging Extend the Length of Your Life?

Running is fast, free and can get you in shape. There has been contraversy over the impact of running on your joints, bones, muscles… But a new study tells about the benefits of running including lengthening your lifespan:

But new, extensive research shows that running can increase your life expectancy by 6.2 years for men and 5.6 years for women. Researcher Peter Schnohr says that between 1 and 2.5 hours of jogging per week at a slow to medium pace delivers the most optimal benefits, according to Live Science.
