2012 Youth Advisory Council

The YMCA Youth Advisory Council is a group of Calgary youth between the ages of 15-25 who help our YMCA work effectively with youth.

Last year the YMCA Youth Advisory Council brought a unique perspective to our Strategic Plan and this year we are looking to be just as effective. YMCA has many programs that serve youth in the community, and it is crucial that we have input from youth themselves to do this in the best way possible.

This year the council is looking for new members! If you are between the ages of 15-25 and want to make a difference for youth in your community, this is the place to be!

Being on the Youth Advisory Council is a form of volunteering, which gives you a free YMCA membership. Our orientation will be on October 24 at 5:30pm at Eau Claire YMCA. Come down and learn about this exciting opportunity!
