Registration Information

Full day camp listings, including dates, prices and locations, can be found in our online registration database.

There are three ways to register for YMCA Calgary Day Camps:

 

1.       Online (members only)

  • Go to the online registration portion of our website
  • Enter your personal barcode and family PIN*
  • Register for the program of your choice
  • Pay by Visa, MasterCard or American Express     

2.       By phone

  • Have your Visa or MasterCard ready, as well as the code for the program you are interested in. Call any membership branch and ask for the Member Services Desk to register for programs.
  • Pick up your receipt at Member Services. For security reasons, you must show identification to pick up receipts for credit card purchases.

3.       In person

  • Register at the Member Services desk. If possible, bring the code for the program you are interested in.  
  • Pay by cheque, cash, Visa, MasterCard, account credit, gift certificate or debit card. You must present gift certificates when you register.

*Don’t know your barcode and PIN? Visit Member Services with a piece of photo identification.
Program and Service fees are subject to GST where applicable.

Registration Policies

  • Members have priority
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Completed medical form with 1 non-returnable photo attached with your child's name written on the back of the photo and returned to the branch before your child attends camp.
  • For camps registered in Climbing Option at the Shawnessy YMCA, a climbing waiver form must be fully completed and returned to the Shawnessy YMCA prior to the first day of camp

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations made less than seven days before the program start date will incur a 25% cancellation fee based on the full program fee.
  • Cancellations made after the course starts with a note from a medical doctor will receive a pro-rated refund from the cancellation date.
  • Cancellations made after the course starts, without a note from a medical doctor, will receivea pro-rated refund from the cancellation date, with a 25% cancellation fee.
  • Any refunds from cancelled programs will remain on your account as a credit unless you request a refund. Refunds made by cheque are subject to a $10 charge. If you paid by debit of credit card, there is no charge to refund back to your card.
  • Exchanges (course swapping) are processed at no extra charge (space permitting).
