Upon arrival at camp, all staff need to provide copies of two government-issued pieces of ID (one photo ID). YMCA Calgary requires all staff and volunteers to complete a Security Clearance prior to their contract start date.

Statement on Abuse Prevention To protect the people in our care, as well as the staff members and volunteers who serve them, we follow strict policies on abuse prevention. We do everything possible to screen out potential offenders and to prevent abuse from occurring to people in our care. This protects the children from potential wrongdoers, and it minimizes the risk of false allegations against innocent staff members and volunteer. We fully cooperate with authorities in thoroughly investigating any and all allegations.
