YMCA Peace Medals
Every November, YMCA Calgary recognizes Calgarians working to advance peace at the Peace Medals Luncheon. This signature event attracts between 350 to 400 attendees.
Event Sponsors - $5,000
As a YMCA Calgary Peace Medals Event Sponsor, your organization will have the following opportunities:
- Logo presence on the YMCA Calgary website
- Logo on event signage
- Logo in audio visual presentation during Peace Medals event
- Verbal recognition during Peace Medals event
- Logo in paid advertising, as available
- Presenting sponsorship for the award of your choice (pending availability) and the opportunity for a representative from your organization to present that medal
- Eight tickets to the event
Medal Sponsor - $1,000
Medal Sponsors will be the presenting sponsor of one of the following awards (pending availability):
- Community Peace Initiatives by an Individual
- Community Peace Initiatives by a Group
- Community Peace Initiatives by a Youth or Youth Group
- International Peace Initiatives by an Individual
- International Peace Initiatives by a Group
- International Peace Initiatives by a Youth or Youth Group
- Humanitarian Peace Medal
As a Medal Sponsor, your organization will have the following opportunities:
- Named as a Medal Sponsor on the YMCA Calgary website
- Name on event signage
- Name in audio visual presentation during Peace Medals event

Strong Kids Golf Tournament
Every summer, YMCA Calgary holds a golf tournament to raise funds for the Strong Kids Campaign. There are many opportunities to support this worthy cause through monetary or in-kind sponsorship.
All sponsors will receive recognition:
- In the Calgary Herald
- By sponsor level in the banquet program
- In the YMCA Calgary annual report
- At all pre-event and welcome activities
In addition, sponsors will also receive:
YMCA Guide ($500-$999)
- Shared sign placement at a tee box
YMCA Counsellor ($1,000-$4,999)
- Shared sign placement at a tee box
- One complimentary golf tournament registration
- Separate listing at the banquet
YMCA Friend ($5,000-$9,999)
- Shared sign placement on a Par 4 tee box
- Up to two complimentary golf tournament registrations
