Camp Chief Hector YMCA is YMCA Calgary’s unique camping and outdoor education branch, offering both day and residential (sleep-over) camps and . Operating year-round, Camp Chief Hector YMCA focuses on youth, but offers programs for everyone, through Summer Camps, Outdoor Schools, weekend programs for adults and families, custom programs and facility rentals.
Camp Chief Hector YMCA programs emphasize community and values-based education, outdoor challenge, fun, individual growth, environmental stewardship, leadership development and service excellence.

YMCA Calgary Day Camps (including YMCA Camp Riveredge)
During summer holidays and school breaks, YMCA Calgary offers a variety of fun, values-based day camps.
YMCA day camps are designed for children ages three to 13, and Leadership day camps are available for youth ages 13 to 16.
Day camps happen at all Calgary branches, at YMCA Camp Riveredge (at Sandy Beach), and at Camp Chief Hector YMCA.
