Sometimes a little extra help is all you need. YMCA Strength and Conditioning staff provide personal training to help participants start an exercise program and work towards acheiving fitness goals. All training programs are available Monday through Sunday by appointment only. To register, pick-up a form from Member Services at any YMCA Calgary health and recreation location.*

Fitness Assessment (15Y and up)
Find out how fit you are. Your cardiovascular fitness, body composition, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility will be evaluated in this 90 minute session. Note: Body fat percentage is not included.
Member $75 | Non-Member $100
Getting Started (12Y and up)
Work within your fitness level to develop a personal training program that meets your needs. This package includes two introductory one-hour personal training sessions and one half-hour consultation. Note: Getting Started is available one-time per membership.
Member $99 | Non-Member $140
Program Design (12Y and up)
Enhance your workout with this additional 90-minute session. A certified trainer will monitor technique and ensure the greatest benefit in your goals and choice of exercises. Pre-requisite: Prior training either with a YMCA trainer or at another facility.
Member $75 | Non-Member $100
Private Sessions (12Y and up)
Choose a package of 60-minute sessions for convenience and savings. A certified trainer will monitor technique and ensure the greatest benefit is derived from each exercise.
