Doors to YMCA Calgary opened in 1902. The Calgary community welcomed YMCA as a place for men to explore spiritual values and leisure activities. Since then, YMCA Calgary has evolved into an organization that provides a wide variety of programs and services for people of all ages and abilities in the community.

Thousands of Calgarians are involved each year in YMCA through health and wellness programs, community services, youth leadership, childcare, daycamps and residential camping. Guided by four core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility, YMCA Calgary strives to offer quality programs and services that help strengthen the foundation of community.
