2012 YMCA Ukraine International Youth Internship Posting

Our intern for 2012 has been selected: read more here.  A posting for our 2013 intern will come out in fall 2012.

Do you know a young post-secondary grad who…

  • has Ukrainian or Russian language skills;
  • is passionate about community development;
  • excels at building relationships with youth?

YMCA Calgary is excited to again be recruiting for an exceptional young leader to work with our international partners at YMCA Ukraine.  For details, see our posting here.

The recruitment is part of the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP), funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) as part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy. The program provides Canadian post-secondary graduates, aged 19-30, with the tools and experience they need to deepen their understanding of issues that affect communities around the world, launch successful careers at home and abroad, and support projects that reduce poverty and promote human rights.  For more information, visit www.acdi-cida.gc.ca/internships.
